Played only one season at Pittodrie, but made quite an impact, especially with his long throw-in which ruffled many opponents' defensive feathers. Disappointed many fans by deciding to move on in the summer of 2012. However on the 14th of July 2017 the experienced Iceland International returned for a second stint at Pittodrie, but he failed to make the impact of his earlier time at the Club.
