Full name: David Lees Caldwell.
Gained several inter-service honours whilst doing National Service with the R.A.F. Became an important member of the 1955 League winning side when he replaced Billy Smith who had suffered a leg break. After retiring from football became a marine engineer and later retired in Aberdeen.
Dave passed away on August 2 at Balmedie House Care Home at the age of 85, following a battle with Alzheimer's.
