Full Name: David Douglas Preece
Spent some of his Pittodrie career as understudy to Jim Leighton and then Peter Kjaer, but still clocked up 106 appearances, three of them from the bench.
Left the Dons to sign for Silkeborg, Denmark 20 July 2005. When he retired from playing he became a journalist and commentator with a high profile presence on social media.
In August 2021 David joined Sunderland FC as goalkeeping coach.
