Profile:
Supporters will have read of the transfer of Alan Rodger to Ayr United. In the middle of last season Alan got permission to stay in the South of Scotland, but on the distinct understanding that he would resume full-time at Pittodrie at the beginning of this term. Things didn't work out as planned, so it is maybe just as well that Alan has taken the fancy of the Ayr officials. He is a "stuffy" back and should be an acquisition for the 2nd Division club.
