Full Name: John McHale
Jock's real breakthrough came during the DOns' tour of South Africa in May 1927 and he played reguulary in the first team until moving to Falkirk in 1929. He did not see eye-to-eye with the manager at Brockville and had a time in Eire playing for Shelbourne before Doncaster signed him from Falkirk. Later he went to Crewe Alexandra where he was captain till he retired form playing in 1935.
He came back to live in Aberdeen and served the Dons as a scour in the north and also wirked as a groundsman at Pittodrie for a time.
