ABERDEEN SIGN NEW GOALKEEPER.
Aberdeen have signed on Peter McSevicke, the goalkeeper of Shieldmuir Celtic, a West Scotland junior club which this year reached the semi-final of the Scottish Junior Cup competition.
McSevicke played a trial for Aberdeen A against Rangers A this season and gave a fine display on that occasion. He played for Scotland against Wales and England this season , in the junior internationals, and was goalkeeper for Lanarkshire Juniors against Aberdeenshire in the Counties Cup competition.

Peter McSevick, (sic.) the Aberdeen reserve goalkeeper last season, has signed for Bournemouth. On form, McSevick was a really good goalkeeper. I have the feeling, however, that it was his poor display in the match at Dundee last season which influenced the directors in making their decision to let him go. He had other off days as well.
