Signed from Tolka Rovers in January 2001, for about £100,000 Dublin born Robbie Hedderman played as a defender in the Aberdeen youth set-up for two and a half seasons. Under Robbie's captaincy the Under-21s team won the Aberdeenshire Cup in august 2002 when they beat Deveronvale in the Final. Leaving Pittodrie in 2003, Robbie returned to Ireland where he has played for several different clubs, latterly Malahide United. In the summer of 2016 Robbie joined the AFC Community Trust as a community coach.
