Profile: |
At some time after his Pittodrie connection, William Wilson Cruickshank travelled to the United States, returning to Britain in August 1924. When travelling to Aberdeen, he met a man who turned out to be a card sharp who (with the help of others) cheated him out of £7 and $140. The thief - Robert Coulter - was found guilty and sentenced to 15 months hard labour.
