A Finnish Under 19 International, Miko joined the Dons from Everton's youth academy in October 2017 and settled in well at Pittodrie, being rewarded with a contract extension in the summer of 2019. In August that year he went on loan to Arbroath where he made 21 starts and was voted Arbroath's Young Player of the Season.
On 4th September 2020 the Club announced that Miko would return to Arbroath for a further season-long loan, however, he was recalled to Pittodrie on 6th January 2021, making his debut against Motherwell on 23rd January. on 31st March it was announced that Miko's contract had been extended for a further season.
On 5th August 2021 the Club announced that Miko had been permanently transferred to Hamilton Academical on a two year deal and for an undisclosed fee. In January 2023 he moved to Cove Rangers.
