Tom signed his professional contract in 2019 and created a good enough impression to appear on the first team bench on a number of occasions, including for the European Conference matches in 2021. It was announced on 25th September 2021 that he would go on load to Huntly FC for the remainder of the season. On 13th December that year he signed a contract extension that would keep him with the Dons untill 2024.
After making his first appearance with the Senior side in a friendly at Buckie Thistle in July, the Club announced on 18th July that Tom would go on load to Queen of the South for the season. However, he was recalled on 1st September and immediately went back out to join Peterhead for the remainder of the season.
