Full name: James Antony Wilson
Although troubled somewhat by injury and poor form, Wilson finished his loan season at Pittodrie strongly and did enough to convince the manager that he would be a worthwhile permanent signing. Since his contract at Old Trafford was ending an offer was made and the peruasive powers of Derek McInnes convinced James to turn his back on potentially more lucrative football south of the border to commit his future to the Dons.
James moved on to Salford City at the end of January 2020.
