After a successful eight season spell in England with Derby County, the experienced midfileder signed a pre-season contract with the Dons on the 19th of June 2019. Unfortunately his season was dogged by injury problems and he appeared on the park on only 12 occasions. Early in season 2020-2021, on the 9th of September, it was annouced by the Club that Craig had been released from his contract after only 2 further appearances, thus allowing him to move on.
On 18th September 2020 it was announced that Bryson had joined St Johnstone until the end of 2020/2021.
