Jay joined the Dons from Livingston FC and quickly established himself as a popular character around the Club and with the fans. However, although he displayed moments of onfield genius, Jay's contribution was less than hoped for and he was more often on the bench than starting. Ultimately, with a change of management at the Club, it was agreed with the player that his contrcat would be terminated early and this was officially confirmed on the CLub wensite on the 12th of April 2022.
