Profile: |
James Herbert Shinner made his debut against St Johnstone on 29th August 1903. His arrival from Middlesbrough had caused a stir of optimism amongst the Aberdeen faithful and he played in 25 matches during that season. However he moved on in the summer of 1904 and followed a wandering career path through many clubs thereafter. Served in the Great War as a mine layer and was a poultry farmer at the end of his life, dying at Spennymoor, County Durham.
