goalkeeping injury crisis kicks off

Still in the days before substitutes, Fred Martin suffered a broken jaw twelve minutes into the match and Hugh Baird had to take over, with the Dons being reduced to ten men. Hugh made a valiant effort, including the saving of a Cowie penalty kick, but could not keep out two goals in the second half. As the season wore on the Dons would be forced to use a total of seven diffent goalkeeper - surely a record in Scottish football?
