The artist Stewart Beckett, well known for his Manchester United related artworks, was commissioned to produce this limited edition print to mark the twentieth anniversary of Aberdeen’s victory over Real Madrid in the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg on the 11th of May 1983. Fortuitously, 2003 also saw the centenary of the Club and the print fitted very well with the extensive celebrations that went on that year.

The print is number 298 of the edition of 500 and was signed by the artist. It was originally displayed in the Gothenburg Lounge but after a redecoration wen into storage for a time before returning to the 1983 themed Fierce Lounge in July 2024.
