This match was played at Central Park before a fair attendance. In the first half Forfar played uphill, and put on 3 goals. Mcfarlane had two points to his credit, and Boath one. When ends were changed the Orion easily came away, and secured 3 goals in a comparatively short period. Leggatt, Oppenshaw, and Stopani each managed to score a goal. It looked as if the game were to end in a draw, but at the critical period Shepherd came to the rescue, and put his side a goal up. The match ended: Forfar Athletic, 4; Orion, 3. .
