For the first time since the
commencement of the season the three leading
Aberdeen clubs ware engaged on Saturday. The
Gershon Cup competition was initiated by the
meeting of Aberdeen and Orion at Orion Park,
Cattofield. The Chanonry eleven included one or
two new players, who fully justified their selection.
In the first half Aberdeen succeeded in obtaining the advantage by one goal, but early in the concluding period Orion equalised, and a point more to either side left the game a draw: three goals
each.
