By a coincidence, the match played between these clubs at Chanonry had the same result as the friendly game played the previous week at Cattofield - a draw of three goals each. While the score was equal, the play was far from being so. Throughout the game, and particularly in the second half Aberdeen held the upper hand, but partly owing to bad luck and partly to poor shooting, they were unsuccessful in the goal-mouth. Aberdeen scored the first two goals, but before half-time Orion equalised. Soon after the start of the second period Aberdeen scored, and it was not till the game was well advanced that Orion again equalised. Amid much, excitement the two teams strove hard for the ascendancy, but the whistle sounded before either had added to its total. The game will be replayed next Saturday at Cattofield.
