The Orion visited Ellon on Saturday and enjoyed a very pleasant game. A strong wind blew from corner to corner of the field, and playing with the wind the visitors managed to score 8 goals in the first half. In the second half Ellon showed up better, but the pace was too warm for them, and in spite of their exertions they were unable to score, the match ending 10 goals to 0.

SHORT PASSES.
The Orion were delighted with their reception at Ellon.
The Ellonites got a few tips worth noting. Gloag's play quite charmed the natives. The precision of Miller's kicking was very noticeable, as was also his deficiency in speed.
No. 6 feet in No. 9 boots may account for the latter.
