Dundee Wanderers 5 - 1 The Aberdeen
Kick Off:    Storrier, McKane, Graham, Macnaughton, Storrier       McIntosh
Attendance: 0
Venue: Clepington Park, Dundee
This match was played on Clepington Park on Saturday before a fairly large attendance of spectators. The Wanderers won the toss, and from the start of the game pressed the strangers. Storrier put on the first goal for the home team by a bit of smart play, and shortly afterwards McKane added a second. No specially prominent play was exhibited in this half, but a few minutes before the end of the period McIntosh, for the Granite City, scored their first and only goal. The second half was somewhat similar to the first, the only outstanding features being the fine run by McGraw, and the ultimate scoring of a goal by Graham, who shot the ball through before the Aberdeen goalkeeper had time to regain his place after trying to save a previous shot. On resuming play, a corner was conceded the Wanderers, and, after a scrimmage, the sphere was nicely put through by Macnaughton. The home team had another goal off Storrier, and shortly thereafter time was called. The game thus ended: Wanderers, 5 goals; Aberdeen, 1. The teams were: Wanderers - Stewart; Robertson, Taylor; Aimers, Macnaughton, Ireland; Storrier, Graham, McG raw, McKane, Ferrier. Aberdeen - Smyth; Gall, Low; Alexander, Joe Davidson, Thomson; Taylor, McIntosh, Toman, J. Mackie. R. McKay. Mr James Smith, Arbroath, was referee.
