These teams met at Victoria Bridge Grounds on Saturday. The weather was fine, and the spectatorate was fairly large. Dundee had the advantage at the start, and scored rather easily before the game had proceeded far. The United, however, were not to submit tamely to defeat, and shortly afterwards they equalised through Annand; but when they crossed over the visitors were again a point ahead. The Dundee succeeded in keeping the lead they had gained, and before time was called they had added other two goals, while the home team only managed to notch another point. The game thus resulted: Dundee A Team, 4 goals; Victoria United, 2.
