Played at Aberdeen on Saturday in miserable weather. Aberdeen kicked off against a slight breeze, but the Athletic had the best of matters during the first half. Athletic were too eager to score, and threw away many fine chances. Forfar scored about fifteen minutes after the start through McFarlane. They shortly afterwards secured another goal from a penalty kick. At half-time the scores stood: Forfar, 2; Aberdeen, 0. AberŽdeen about a minute from the start scored their first shot, and Gray equalised after a period of slow play. Thomson scored another goal for the whites, but Aberdeen did not keep the lead long, a shot from McIntosh equalising. Couttie scored a fourth goal for the Athletic, and the game ran out; Forfar Athletic, 4; Aberdeen, 3.
