Venue: Cattofield, Aberdeen
At Cattofield on Saturday afternoon in splendid weather, and before a large turnout of spectators, the Aberdeen and Victoria United teams engaged in the final for the Aberdeenshire Cup. The teams were:- Aberdeen: Bisset; O'Brien, Dakers; Sangster, Thomson, Robertson; Brash, C. Mackie, H. Livingstone, Davidson, McHardy. Victoria United: Murray; Kilgour, Craig; Bremner, A. Murray, R. Ritchie; Knowles, Duncan, Burnett, Ferries, G. Ritchie. Mr. Baillie, Edinburgh, was referee.

The United won the toss, and Aberdeen kicked off. Half-time was reached without scoring on either side, and one of the most stiffly contested games for the 'Shire Cup seen for several years ended in favour of Aberdeen.

At the close of the game, the officials, teams, and others met in the Northern Hotel, when Mr. David Gordon, president of the Aberdeenshire Football Association, presented the cup to the captain of the winning team, and badges to the players.
