Match Abandoned
This match was played at Pittodrie Park, Aberdeen, on Saturday afternoon, in stormy weather. Although the field had a coating of snow, Mr. Hood, Perth, the referee, declared the ground fit for a League fixture. The teams were:- Aberdeen: Bissset; O'Brien, Dakers; Sangster, Thomson, Robertson; Brash, C. Mackie, H. Livingstone, Davidson, W. Livingstone. Cowdenbeath: George; D. Drummond, Nisbet; Ramsay, Pringle, Murphy; McAughey, McCluskey, S. Drummond, Horne, W. Mercer.

The visitors kicked off against a stormy wind, and D. Drummond immediately pierced the Aberdeen defence, but he was pulled up by Thomson. Aberdeen, aided by the gale, were able to attack, Brash having a try from the left. Immediately after Thomson netted the ball with a swift delivery, but the point was given offside. Cowdenbeath had, during the first half, to give a good deal of attention to defensive work, and preventing Aberdeen from scoring. In this, D. Drummond and Nisbet were particularly seen to advantage, both players saving capitally. McAughey and Mercer made several attacks, to which Bisset came far out to meet. Otherwise, the Fife men were not dangerous. On the other hand, Brash and C. Mackie were frequently in good positions for scoring, but they failed to find the net.

Aberdeen assumed the defensive in the second half, on account of the gale. After a few minutes' play, however, the referee stopped the game owing to the hurricane. The game was brought to a close without any scoring having taken place.
