Dundee 'A' Have To Work For Points At Dens |
 |
Aberdeen A very nearly succeeded in drawing with Dundee A in their Northern League match, although, to tell the truth, they would've been extremely lucky if they had. The Pittodrie lads were a heavier set than the Dens Parkers, and it seemed as if height and weight were to have the mastery, Maurice specially when Aberdeen scored from a corner the first time they got down. Dundee had to fight hard to get the winning points. It was only in the second period that Dundee showed anything like their true form, and yet, curiously enough, they never once scored because of poor shooting. The Dark Blues all over but a better balanced lot, while Aberdeen A were stronger in defence and attack.
