Attendance: 0
Venue: Victoria Park, Buckie
Aberdeen's First League team played a match in Victoria Park, Buckie, last night with Buckie Thistle, when there was a large attendance. The home team had forward a strong 11, and an excellent game was witnessed.

Five minutes after a starting Buckie score, a hard shot by Neilson, outside left, rebounding off Hannah into his own goal. Buckie kept up the pressure, and succeeded infrequently roaming the visitors of the ball. Ten minutes later Main inside-left, equalised for Aberdeen with an unsavable shot. From a pass by Clark, Mann shot, but missed the Aberdeen goal by inches. Midfield play ensued, and Aberdeen forced a corner, which called forth a brilliant save by Davidson in the home goal. From a run-up on the left wing Neilson shot, but Greig saved. Fast play ensued, and a corner fell to Aberdeen, but the ball went over the bar. Mann had another try for Buckie, but Greig saved brilliantly. Aberdeen shown some fine passing, but could not score. Stewart ended a run for Buckie by grazing the crossbar. Through Neilson being fouled, Buckie were awarded a penalty, but Mann failed to convert through Greig's fine saving.

On resuming, Buckie kept up the attack despite the Aberdeen combination. Mackenzie had a shot which was nearly successful. The Buckie keeper was called on, and saved smartly. Three corners fell to the visitors in rapid succession but they were all fruitless. Shortly afterwards, however, Walker, inside-right, put Aberdeen on the lead by a fine shot. The home team kept going all the time, and one shot from the outside-bright struck the crossbar and rebounded into play, the goalkeeper relieving.
