Aberdeen F.C.'s trial match at was a success.

Chief interest centred in the four young, players who have been added to the playing list. One thing is certain. Aberdeen can call Black, the St Clement's goalkeeper, at any time. He proved that he is a player of distinct ability. His display greatly impressed the 4000 spectators.
McKenzie, who was signed from Jamestown Athletic, is a young centre-half of promise. His defensive play was very effective and he gave Pattillo little scope. Munro, who is working in the mines, is a winger who knows how to beat an opponent. He is fast, and can shoot with great power.
D. W. C. Smith, the University student, is a young player splendid physique, who will improve with experience. He was not, however, too well supported.
Kerr, a left back trialist from Burnbank, also had a good game, while another player to impress was Feeley, I.T.C.
All the regulars of last season played to reputation. Stan Williams, on leave, was as lively as ever.
