DONS DUMPED IN DOUR DERBY AT DENS. |
 |
We have seen more thrilling "derbies" than the most recent one at Dundee, and this was probably accounted for by the keen tackling of both sides. When the Dons crossed over one goal down to play the second-half downhill and with the breeze in their favour, they looked to have a fair chance,of recording their first win but the home players had other ideas and defensive mistakes cost the visitors other two goals. The Dons have a "grouse" in that the referee turned a "blind eye" to an infringement by the Dundee goalkeeper which to everyone else had "penalty" written all over it. The Dons, however, didn't play well enough to deserve victory.
