The Dons' victory last week was well deserved and was all the more pleasing because of the many changes necessitated by injury. On a heavy ground some of the newly "blooded" players tired towards the end but they did enough in the first half to justify their success - with any luck the score at the interval might easily have been 6-0! One felt sorry for some of the Airdrie players whose performance wasn't helped by the vicious barracking to which they were subjected.
