DOONHAMERS DOONED |
 |
In heavy rain, the Dons ploughed through the mud to record a meritorious victory against Queen of the South (the Doonhamers). It is true to say that Henderson's charge bore a charmed life. Roy deserves every credit for a wonderful display but he would admit that time and again he shot out a hand or hands - the ball would strike hand ot arm and spin away just past the goal. The Dons had hard luck not to be leading at half-time but made "siccar" in the second half.
