Disappointing |
 |
Supporters realised that the game Starks Park would be a stiff one and that Raith Rovers would be all out to wipe out the memory of that 0-5 defeat from Dundee. Nevertheless the score was a sad disappointment to all followers of the Dons. It would appear that some of the more experienced players had a poor game. The pitch was "greasy" but that is no excuse since the handicap is the same for all. The Dons played "downhill" in the first half and played reasonably well, losing but one goal almost on half-time. After the interval the home side took complete command.
