Aberdeen, who had won the Championship five days earlier at Tynecastle, equalled the Premier League points total of 56 with this hard earned point at Tannadice. This was The Dons' fifth match in 10 days, as the end of season fixture pile-up bordered on the ridiculous. Everything was still to play for with a possible new points record and a Scottish Cup Final coming up.
