Mols at the Double as Poor Run Continues |
 |
Rangers defeated Aberdeen by 3 goals to nil at Ibrox, with Michael Mols scoring
the first two.
It took Rangers 16 minutes to score, when Mols finished well past the helpless
Preece. Giovanni Van Bronckhorst came close for the home side, but his strike
shaved the crossbar.
The Dons went in 1-nil down at the break, and there wasn't all that much
between the teams in the first half. However 3 minutes into the second half,
Mols struck
again to make the score 2-nil to the Champions.
Rangers came close through Amoruso and they were awarded a soft penalty in
the 85th minute. Jorg Albertz despatched the penalty past Preece to make the
final score 3-0.
The Dons record now reads: 6 played, 0 wins, 0 goals and Ebbe Skovdahl will
be looking to break that unwanted record next saturday.
