Celtic thrashed the Dons 6-0 at Pittodrie today, with four of the goals coming
in the final 25 minutes.
Paul Lambert opened the scoring after 21 minutes, beating Leighton to put the
visitors 1-0 ahead.
Celtic's lead was extended 6 minutes later when Stephane Mahe struck to make
it 2-0.
The Dons held out until the 67th minute, when Lubomir Moravcik struck to make
it 3-0. Mark Viduka pounced on a loose ball after ex-Scotland international
goalkeeper Jim Leighton spilled it, and Viduka made it 4-0.
Ex Sheffield Wednesday winger Regi Blinker made it 5-0 with nine minutes remaining,
and on loan star Ian Wright grabbed his second goal of his Celtic career to
make it 6-0, the third big defeat of Aberdeen by Celtic this season. The Dons
have conceded 18 goals to the Glasgow giants in just three games.
67 mins: LUBOMIR MORAVCIK has made it 3-0 with a wonderful strike, and put
the game beyond any reasonable doubt.
