A small attendance witnessed the Highland League game - Aberdeen A v Inverness Citadel - at Pittodrie Park on Saturday. During the first half the visitors held the superiority in play, and after a few minutes play opened the scoring through Forsyth. Aberdeen's play was most disappointing, but McIntosh equalised just before the interval.
A re-arrangement in the home attack in the second half proved advantageous, the Inverness team, beyond a sturdy defence, never equalling their form of the first period. Aberdeen's scorers were - Brewster, Walker, Watson and Scorgie.
