The Aberdeen Football Club's touring party played the fifth of their series of matches in the Union of South Africa yesterday, when a select of the Free State was opposed at Bloemfontein. The game, which attracted a record attendance for a soccer match in the State, resulted in a win for Aberdeen by 6 goals to 1.
The tourists gave a magnificent exhibition, and bewildered the home players; indeed they might have doubled their majority had they chosen. For Aberdeen Yorston had three goals, Cheyne one, and Edward two.
