At Johannesburg on Saturday, before a record attendance for an Association football match there, the Aberdeen football team now visiting South Africa sustained its second reverse of the tour, Witwatersrand beating them by 3 goals to 1. The winners are one of the best teams in the Union, the majority of members being University men. Aberdeen found the conditions too much for them, and although they played more scientific football, they could not cope with the hard ground and the great speed of their opponents.
