Playing at Kingsmills Park, Inverness, last night, Aberdeen defeated an Inverness Select eleven by six goals to two.
The Inverness players wore black bands and the club flag was flown at half-mast as tribute to the memory of James Logie, the player, whose death occurred on Tuesday.
Aberdeen in the first half were dominant, playing almost as they wished, and never allowing the Inverness side to settle. They got six goals in this period, the scorers being McLean, Warnock, Falloon, and Dickie (3). Ogilvie, of the Depot Camerons, who was the outstanding player in the Inverness team, scored both his side's goals. For Aberdeen, McGill, Donald, Warnock, Dickie, and McLean were best, while for Inverness, Smith, Mitchell, Bowie, Ogilvie, and McLean were the pick.
