Dons' K.O. for Hearts
THE Dons now meet Raith Rovers in the semi-final of the North-Eastern League Supplementary Cup competition.

In the second of the first round home - and - home games at Tynecastle the Dons beat Hearts 6-0, making their aggregate for the two games 15 against 1.
On Saturday the Dons were not the brilliant combination the previous week, but they always gave the impression that they could have pulled out a great deal if necessary. Hamilton and Gavin were outstanding in the Aberdeen team. Hamilton's leadership was brilliant. At times he simply bewildered the home defence. He had the hat-trick, to give him a total of seven goals over the two matches.
Gavin, with head and foot, threw back the Hearts' attack time and again. Moody, too, gave much improved display in goal. He had several daring saves.
Cooper was the best back afield, with Dyer a sound partner. The wing halves, Dunlop and Taylor, played well.
If the forwards did not scintillate as on the previous Saturday, there was not a weakling in the line. Dryden was very effective at times.

Stan. Williams, Aberdeen's South African forward, who has been on loan Clyde and Hibs respectively, has been called up.
