League Flag Won By Dundee
DUNDEE are champions of the North-Eastern League. They made certain of the honour by their 3-1 victory over Dunfermline Athletic.

The Dons, however, made a great fight for the flag. They, too, won their home game against Raith Rovers by two clear goals, and thus created a record for the League by winning five games in a row - three of them from home - scoring in these five engagements twenty-four goals without losing one. In addition, they finished with the best goal average of all the teams, and were far ahead of Dundee in this respect.
The Dons won more easiiy than the score represents against Raith Rovers. That they did not register more than two goals was due to the brilliance of Bruce, the young Aberdonian in the Rovers' goal. He gave a great display. He was well protected by Dutch and Donald, also former Aberdeen juniors. Low, too, was a power at centre-half for the visitors, but the attack was poor.
The Aberdeen defence had an easy afternoon. The secret of their success was the middle trio. Taylor was at his best, and that form is good enough for any team. Dunlop, who scored the opening goal, was again at the top of his form, and Russell was grand in constructive work.
In attack the Dons were not so assertive as in recent matches. Waldron was not too happy against his old team mates. Pattillo who had the second goal, was the best of the five, and Bremner showed that he is regaining that form which won him praise before his enforced absence from the team several weeks ago. Miller is improving with every game. He the best of the four wingers on view.
