6-1 Victory Over St Mirren

ABERDEEN are now leaders in A Division of the Scottish League by one point.
Their 6 1 victory over St Mirren at Pittodrie established them on the top rung not only on pointage, but with a goal average of 13?2 over the three games played.
Hearts and Motherwell, their nearest rivals, drew at Tynecastle, each now being a point behind the Dons. Queen's Park drew 4-4 at Shawfield against Clyde, and Hamilton Accies drew with Hibs.
Morton trounced Kilmarnock 6-1 at Cappielow, and Falkirk, who visit Pittodrie in fortnight, beat Queen of the South in Dumfries.
Dundee are undefeated in B Division. On Saturday they won comfortably against Dumbarton at Dens.

The Dons' success over St Mirren was achieved just as easily as their victory over Kilmarnock the previous week.
The Dons' fine teamwork has been a telling factor in their three successive victories. The defence is playing with the utmost confidence. Cooper is the inspiration of the team.

Williams Gets Three,/p> There can be few better half-back trios than Bremner, Dunlop and Taylor.
The forward line is fast and clever. Williams has now five goals to his credit. He had the hat-triok against St Mirren.
Pattillo and Driver at inside forward were tremendous workers, and both Kiddie and Miller were successful on the wings.
St Mirren are weak in defence. Linwood and Stenhouse were their best players.
