Dons Beaten at Perth
In the first leg at Perth last night before a crowd of 4500. Aberdeen went under by the odd goal in three.

Aberdeen had out three of their new players. Kiddie, Hammond and Spalding.
St Johnstone went ahead in fifteen minutes through Souter, and minutes later Hammond equalised. In twentv-five minutes, McIntosh, the Saints' centre, obtained what proved be the winning goal.
it was a poor game. Johnstone in the Aberdeen goal had an uneventful evening. Cooper and Dyer were the men who mattered during St Johnstone's efforts to increase their lead in the closing stages.
The duels between Dunlop, the Aberdeen pivot, and McIntosh, the home centre, were the outstanding feature of a colourless game. Kiddie was easily the Dons best for schemed well in the first half.
In the other tie at Dens Park, Dundee defeated Falkirk 5-2.
