Aberdeen A met the 93rd, Argyle and Sutherland, Highlanders in a Highland League game at Pittodrie on Saturday. There was a fair attendance of spectators.

In the first half the visitors did most of the attacking, making progress chiefly by the excellent work of the extreme and wingers, Dodds and Galbraith. The latter the specially had some capital runs and centres, the showed a good turn of speed. Shortly before the interval Smith, the inside right of the Highlanders, scored for them.

Aberdeen A attacked hardly during the greater part of the second half. After they had equalized through a fine, long shot by H. Smith [sic. should be Murray], the battled strenuously for the winning point. Several corners fell to the A's, but the soldiers' defence played dourly and averted defeat.
