The Aberdeen club put two teams on the field on Saturday, both of which proved successful. The first team gave the Gordon an awful slating, scoring no less than 11 goals off. The play was, of course, one-sided all through. Cunningham, the latest importation, played a game forward, as also did Hyslop, who played on the left with Clark. I think he is a better forward than a back. The backs were never hard pressed, and had consequently no opportunities of shining. The second team beat the Granite City by two goals, but on a firm ground their superiority would doubtless have been more.
