What would have been a good match, here, was completely spoiled by the heavy going ground. It will be remembered that when the Orion visited Laurencekirk earlier in the season, they had to return rather crestfallen with a score against them of 5 goals to 1. On Saturday, however, the result, on paper, showed a distinct improvement, the visitors putting on 4 goals to the Orions' 2. The Visitors, owing to the ground, could not be seen to great advantage, but the elements may be more favourable for an exhibition on their next visit to Aberdeen early in the year, when they are underlined for the Aberdeen.
