Played at Holburn, and resulted in a win for Aberdeen by 5 to 0. Considering the condition of the ground, the playing on both sides was fairly good, though the Rovers were greatly overmatched. For the winners A. Clark scored the fist, second, and fifth points, Thomson getting the third and Mackenzie being responsible the fourth. Immediately after the whistle blew A. Clark shot another goal for Aberdeen, which was in consequence disallowed. A rather peculiar incident of the match was the fact that one of the goals shot by A. Clark proved to be the 100th which had been made by the Aberdeen this season, this player having done precisely the same thing during two previous winters. Hyslop, who took Key's place in the Aberdeen team, played, along with Lothian, a very good game, while Thomson at half-back was conspicuous. The Rovers' back ranks - the goalkeeper especially - played the best game, but as a whole they were not nearly smart enough, and will require some practice to reach anything like the form shown by the Aberdeen.
