A well-contested game at Chanonry resulted in a victory for the ground team by 6 to 3.

The City Rangers were made to lie low at Chanonry on Saturday. The game was an extremely pleasant one. The Aberdeen, however, had the best of the play throughout, although it must be admitted that the Rangers on more than one occasion, put in some clever if not dashing play. Christie, whom we were glad to see once more on the field, was in good form, and Clark, in the position of centre forward, played with all his customary energy, and was on the whole very effective. Key rendered admirable service, as did Wood at goal. The goalkeeper, Downie, Bowman and Slater were perhaps the best men on the side of the Rangers. Six goals to three was the result of the match.
