Played at Stonehaven in showery weather. All through the strangers carried everything before them, and the match ended - Aberdeen 12, Thistle 2.

The outing of the Aberdeen team who journeyed to Stonehaven to play the Thistle was very enjoyable. Of course, as is now well known, the city representatives had little difficulty in settling their opponents, and as the figures of 12-2 indicate, the game was pretty much one-sided. A. Wood played for the home eleven. The subsequent proceedings, however, were the best part of the excursion. We refer to the supper and the smoking concert, at both of which good fellowship reigned.
