Kick Off:  2:30 PM
Attendance: 0
Venue: Victoria Bridge, Aberdeen
Owing to the frost, many important matches were postponed on Saturday. The semi-final ties for the Aberdeenshire Cup were down for settlement, but they were declared off. The Orion and the Vics, however, played a friendly game.

These teams faced each other at Torry in a friendly game, the cup tie having been postponed in consequence of the frosty condition of the ground. There was a large turnout of spectators, In the first half the Vics, early took the lead, and gave Lowe a good deal of saving to do. Towards the close of the period the Orion managed to equalise - the first half thus ending 1 each. When ends were changed the Stripes took the upper hand, and added two points, while the ground team failed to score. Result: Orion 3, Victoria United 1. Good play was out of the question on the hard ground, so that the ultimate winner of the tie is still a matter of uncertainty.
